Information about the winners:

The photographers from both the state and private mass media took part in the competition. Four of the winners come from various regions of the country (Vasilij Zenko, Stolbtsy; Alexander Saenko, Grodno; Nikolaj Titov, Mogiljev; Oleg  Rubchenja, Slutsk). Other winners live and work in Minsk. The average age of the participants is 38 years. There were two girls among the winners.

Viktor Drachjev was born in 1957. Graduated from the journalistic department of BSU (Belarusian State University). Worked in the press agency “Novosty” (“Новости”) and for the newspaper “Komsomolskaja pravda” (“Комсомольская правда”). Now he is working for “Agence France-Presse”. In the summer of 2009 during the International photojournalistic festival VISA POUR L’IMAGE (Perpinian, France) Viktor Drachjev’s personal exhibition took place.
